INDIA-AIDS, in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH and the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), has been consistently promoting traditional health systems through the development of AYUSH Herbal Gardens. These include the establishment of Rashi and Nakshatra Gardens at key locations such as Delhi International Airport and public institutions, enhancing both environmental and cultural value. The NGO has organized awareness programs, plantation drives, and sapling distribution campaigns—notably under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative—across schools, petrol pumps, and community centers. Through these efforts, INDIA-AIDS is fostering greater awareness about medicinal plants like Ashwagandha, Tulsi, and Giloy, encouraging eco-conscious living and holistic wellness.
