✊ Celebrating Ambedkar Jayanti with Purpose and Pride

On 14th April 2025, INDIA-AIDS NGO, in collaboration with Sai Charitable Trust, proudly celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti, paying homage to the visionary architect of the Indian Constitution—Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The event was an inspiring confluence of ideas, culture, and community participation, reflecting Babasaheb's enduring legacy of equality, justice, and human rights.

The celebration brought together people from diverse backgrounds, united in their admiration for Dr. Ambedkar’s lifelong fight against social injustice and his contributions toward building an inclusive, democratic India.


🌟 Dignitaries Who Graced the Occasion

The event was honored by the presence of Mrs. Archana Shrivastava, General Secretary of INDIA-AIDS, as the Guest of Honour. In her address, she spoke with great conviction about Dr. Ambedkar’s mission to uplift the marginalized, the relevance of his ideology in today’s era of social transformation, and the role that NGOs like INDIA-AIDS must play in realizing his dream of empowerment through education and opportunity.

The Chief Guest, Shri Pawan Sharma, MLA, emphasized how Babasaheb’s principles of equality and fraternity continue to guide policymaking and social reform. He urged the youth and community leaders to uphold constitutional values and work toward a just society.


🎭 Culture, Reflection, and Unity

The program featured cultural performances, including songs and skits based on the life of Dr. Ambedkar, as well as powerful speeches by students and volunteers, reinforcing the values of education, dignity, and resilience.

Attendees—ranging from students, local residents, and social workers—actively engaged in dialogues and reflections on the challenges still faced by marginalized communities and the collective responsibility to address them.

The event concluded with a community pledge to continue working for social justice, inclusive development, and equitable opportunities for all—values at the heart of both Babasaheb’s vision and INDIA-AIDS’ mission.
