INDIA-AIDS at Kisan Melas: Taking Sustainability to the Heart of Farming

As part of its commitment to agricultural upliftment and sustainable farming, INDIA-AIDS has proudly participated in various Kisan Melas (Farmer Exhibitions) held across different regions of India. These platforms brought together thousands of farmers, innovators, NGOs, and government agencies to share ideas, innovations, and actionable solutions for the farming sector.

At each Kisan Mela, INDIA-AIDS hosted a dedicated booth designed especially for farmers—showcasing affordable, eco-friendly tools and sustainable practices. Our stalls featured demonstrations on fuel-saving techniques for tractors, low-cost irrigation methods, organic alternatives, post-harvest storage tips, and crop preservation methods that reduce both waste and cost.

We also distributed free literature, interacted directly with farmers through Q&A sessions, and introduced them to government schemes and technologies that promote conservation of energy and petroleum in agriculture. The INDIA-AIDS team explained how small behavioral shifts—like timely maintenance of equipment, soil testing, and water-efficient irrigation—can make a big impact on both yield and environment.

These Kisan Melas gave us a valuable opportunity to connect with farmers at the grassroots, understand their challenges, and empower them with practical, sustainable solutions. Farmers left not only with knowledge but also with confidence—that they are not alone in their efforts toward smarter farming.

INDIA-AIDS remains committed to building greener villages and smarter fields, one exhibition at a time.
