Location: Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi

On a bright spring morning of April 10th, 2025, students associated with INDIA-AIDS NGO joined thousands of runners at the PNB Half Marathon held at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. The marathon wasn’t just a sporting event—it was a celebration of health, unity, and social awareness.

Representing the voice and energy of the youth, over 10 students from INDIA-AIDS participated in this prestigious event. Dressed in custom t-shirts bearing the message of health, environment, and empowerment, the students displayed not only physical resilience but also a deep commitment to meaningful causes that align with INDIA-AIDS’ vision.

The half marathon, supported by Punjab National Bank, focused on promoting themes such as fitness, clean environment, responsible citizenship, and inclusivity. For our students—many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds—this was a platform to feel empowered, engaged, and connected to a much larger social ecosystem.

Our participation marked another milestone in INDIA-AIDS’ continuous efforts to promote youth development, health awareness, and active community participation. It was a proud moment to see our students, trained and motivated, running shoulder-to-shoulder with professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts, corporate employees, and everyday citizens.

Beyond the run itself, the event became a valuable life experience—teaching discipline, time management, and the importance of teamwork. Students interacted with diverse groups, shared stories, and built confidence through a sense of accomplishment.

The marathon concluded with cheers, medals, and a powerful sense of purpose. It inspired our youth to maintain a healthy lifestyle and remain engaged in civic initiatives that drive positive change. The INDIA-AIDS team remains committed to fostering such holistic growth opportunities for its students, where both body and mind are strengthened for the challenges and responsibilities of tomorrow.
