In a moment of sheer pride and celebration, Master Prince Bainsla, the young golfing prodigy nurtured by INDIA-AIDS NGO, has added another feather to his cap by winning an International Junior Golf Tournament held in Nepal on 5th June 2025. This prestigious event drew participation from top junior golfers across the South Asian region, making Prince’s victory not just a personal achievement but a proud moment for the country.
Despite being only 14 years old, Prince displayed unmatched focus, grit, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. His calm composure under pressure, thoughtful shot selections, and strategic approach over 18 holes reflected the making of a true champion. He led the leaderboard early and maintained his dominance with consistent swings and minimal errors. Prince’s gameplay was lauded by both local and international coaches, setting a benchmark for upcoming junior players.
🌱 A Journey of Talent, Training & Support
What makes Prince’s journey more inspiring is his humble background. Hailing from a modest family, Prince found his passion in golf and began training under the guidance of Mr. M.R. Amit Dubey, the experienced coach from ITC. Recognizing his exceptional talent, INDIA-AIDS NGO, committed to holistic youth development, stepped in to support Prince through its sports wing under CSR.
With the generous backing of Siddhartha Grease and Lubes Pvt. Ltd., Prince received full sponsorship for his golfing equipment, tournament registration, travel, and coaching expenses. This partnership allowed him to focus solely on his game and pursue his passion with the right resources.
🏆 A Victory Beyond Borders
Winning in Nepal was more than just a title—it symbolized the power of community support, opportunity, and the belief that talent knows no boundaries. Prince represented not only himself but the dreams of many underprivileged children who simply need the right platform to shine.
His triumph received media coverage locally in Nepal and was appreciated back home in India by sporting circles, educational institutions, and fellow NGO members. After the tournament, Prince expressed his gratitude:
“This win means everything to me. I dedicate it to my coach, my family, and INDIA-AIDS for believing in me. This is just the beginning.”
🌍 Vision for the Future
INDIA-AIDS envisions developing more young talents like Prince by supporting sports as a tool of empowerment. The organization aims to provide access to training and platforms to students who may not otherwise get a chance to explore their full potential. This initiative aligns perfectly with the NGO’s broader mission of working across Health, Education, Environment, and Empowerment.
Prince’s journey is a shining example of what happens when passion meets purpose, and effort meets encouragement. We look forward to many more international feats from him as he inspires the next generation of young athletes.
