❤️ Saving Lives Together: Blood Donation Camp at Shastri Bhawan

Date: 9th June 2025

Venue: Ministry of Law & Justice, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi

Organized by: INDIA-AIDS NGO in collaboration with the Ministry of Law & Justice

In a heartfelt and impactful effort to promote voluntary blood donation, INDIA-AIDS NGO joined hands with the Ministry of Law & Justice to organize a Blood Donation Camp at Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi, on 9th June 2025. The initiative drew enthusiastic participation from ministry officials, staff members, youth volunteers, and even passersby from nearby government departments.

The objective of the camp was twofold — to meet the growing demand for safe and timely blood supply in hospitals and to foster a spirit of compassion and social responsibility among citizens.

🩸 A Well-Coordinated Effort

The entire event was conducted in a clean and professional setup with support from certified medical staff. All safety and hygiene protocols were strictly adhered to, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment for all donors. After registration and basic health checkups, donors contributed their blood in a systematic and efficient process, supported by volunteer teams.

Over 120 units of blood were collected during the one-day camp, which will now help save lives of accident victims, thalassemia patients, and those undergoing major surgeries.

💬 Voices of Purpose

Senior officials from the Legislative Department appreciated the initiative, stating:

“Blood donation is the simplest yet the most powerful act of service. We thank INDIA-AIDS for organizing this meaningful drive at our workplace.”

Mrs. Archana Shrivastava, General Secretary of INDIA-AIDS, added:

“We are proud to facilitate this camp with the Ministry. Every drop counts. Our goal is to encourage a culture of regular voluntary donation as a civic duty.”

🙌 A Step Towards a Healthier Society

Such collaborations reflect INDIA-AIDS’s deep commitment not only toward healthcare and emergency services but also in building a sensitized and proactive civil society. The blood donation camp became a shining example of how government institutions and civil society organizations can come together to bring tangible impact at the grassroots level.

The event ended with distribution of appreciation certificates, refreshments for donors, and a renewed sense of unity and purpose — proving once again that every act of giving saves a life.
